An historic representation of Glenfiddich Speyside Malt, as it would have been made and ultimately would have tasted in the days of Glenfiddich founder William Grant. In 1887, when the first Glenfiddich flowed from the still, barley wa malted in kilns over furnaces fuelled with dried local peat, imparting unique smokiness. The unusual depth and smokiness found in Glenfiddich 125 Anniversary Edition are the result of a unique accord between peated Glenfiddich Malts matured in American oak casks.

Jack Daniels Gentleman Jack's smooth character is a result of Mr. Jack's dedication to the old-time charcoal-mellowing method. Unlike any whiskey in the world, Jack Daniels Gentleman Jack is charcoal-mellowed twice - once before it's aged in those charred white oak barrels, and once again four years later before it's bottled. It receives what the whiskey tasters here in the Jack Daniel's Hollow call "a double blessing" from the charcoal mellowing process. The whiskey that emerges from the second charcoal mellowing is one whose refined character and elegant finish make it worthy to be called Gentleman Jack Daniels.
